STRATEGIC
PLANNING LEVEL-
competitive advantage becomes the market leader, Long term outlook. This term
recognizes the impact that decisions have on entire organization for years to
come.
Examples: president, vice president

MANAGEMENT
CONTROL LEVEL (TACTICAL)- improving operations without reconstructing the
company. The responsibility to put plans into action and to ensure that goals
are met. They identify specific tasks that need to be accomplished.
Example:
regional managers,
product director

OPERATION LEVEL- Day-to-day
actions to keep the company functioning. Complete specific tasks as directed by
managers on upper levels. Example. department heads, project head
FUNCTION OF MANAGEMENT:
-PLANNING- the first function which is basically a logical thinking process that decides what needs to be done in order to achieve organization`s goals and objectives.
-ORGANIZING- the setting up and maintaining the internal organizational structure in accordance with objectives mentioned in planning stage.
-STAFFING- the process of choosing right people for this organization.
-DIRECTING- guiding people in the organization through the means of counseling, instructing, motivating.
-CONTROLLING- the process of leading and influencing the task related activities of group member or an entire organization.
